Hi,
I'm having this same problem. I'm using Tiger on a PowerPC mac.
So, I went to the download page, chose the Mac OS X platform, downloaded the
three items (Mono Framework, MonoDevelop, and Cocoa#), and went to work.
I first installed the framework. Next, I installed MonoDevelop. I also
extracted Cocoa# source.
When I run MonoDevelop I follow these steps: 1) Choose File/New Solution, 2)
Choose the template C#/Samples/Glade# 2.0 Project, 3) Provide a name an step
through the wizard using all defaults, 4) Attempt to build the project.
At this point I get two errors that begin "The type or namespace name 'Gtk'
could not be found..." and "The type or namespace name 'Glade' could not be
found.
If I explicitly add the glade-sharp.dll and gtk-sharp.dll assemblies then
the code will compile. However, when I choose to run the application I get
a runtime error: System.DllNotFoundException: libgtk-win32-2.0-0.dll.
I am trying to do as little as possible just as a proof-of-concept that this
works on the Mac. Is there another IDE that I should be using? Is the
problem with the assembly packages?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
