[Mono-osx] Still trouble with 1.1.16

So, I have the same problems as Ken and seeing your post I decided to 
install the _1 version.

However, as I am a complete Mono/OSX newbie (coming from Windows/.NET) 
my first question is; how do I un-install Mono (I assume I have to 
un-install the 1.1.16.1_0 version before I can install the _1 version)?
