[Mono-list] mono process terminated with status 255

I have a mono process that runs within an upstart job on CentOS.  Occasionally it will die and I'll get an error like this: main process (32626) terminated with status 255

I have no idea why it died, and there is nothing in my application that is explicitly saying to exit with a status of 255.  It don't seem to be able to make it do this, it just happens.  Any idea how to determine the cause?  Is there some mono option to get it to dump what was going on?
