[Mono-list] FW: Poor Mono performance

Just tried it, but sgen fails without executing.  The program exits and
prints this to the screen.

Oh I forgot to mention earlier that with the 3.0.6 runtime, the .NET still
runs mcs compiled code about 50% slower. (so one goes from ~.64 ->.95 -> 1.1
seconds as they transition from full .NET to mono compiler to mcs+mono
runtime on windows).
