Thank you. The link for the stable version goes to a page about creating 
perl modules. The Beta link worked and I installed that. When I try to 
access help in monodevelop it complains about needing a newer version of 
monodoc, it's the same error that I got when I tried to install 
monodevelop from source. Do you know how to get around that problem, so 
that I can access help?
