Dear Félix,
this is quite important indeed for my business, as RHEL/Centos is the
production environment requested by our customer.
I have to report about my "1-week investigation" results on
mono+Centos+.NET, and it is really important for me to understand what "In
fact the RHEL/Centos distributions of mono are discontinued" means.
The fact there are no direct downloads for RHEL/Centos suggests indeed this
might be a hard way to go - and we have a short schedule.
Considering that Mono 2.4 supports anyway an old version of .NET framework
(developers here are on 3.5 if I am not wrong) I think Mono 1.9 is (too)
older and might add further problems.
I am seriously thinking to give up Mono (sorry guys, excellent work but
still a bit hard for non Linux experts) and this might have a serious
impact.
Can you then confirm?

So far I got

	[root at ...]# wget http://go-mono.com/sources/mono/mono-2.4.tar.bz2
	[root at ...]# wget http://go-mono.com/sources/xsp/xsp-2.4.tar.bz2
	[root at ...]# wget http://go-mono.com/sources/mod_mono/mod_mono-2.4.tar.bz2

for Centos and did configure/make/make install for it.
Nevertheless, it is still not working ...

Cheers,
Stefano
