[Mono-list] Debugging compiler error

Well as usual writing up my problem got me to think about it in a  
different way.  The stack trace I posted actually told me exactly what  
I needed to know and I managed to fix it within a couple of minutes.   
I had removed the default constructor from a property attribute.
