[Mono-list] mono-service2 not creating a lock-file

Hello again,

I'm working on porting a Windows .NET 2.0 service to Mono and so, 
obviously, I'm using mono-service2
and I created an init-script for the service and it works fine without 
any problems at all from the terminal except
when the init-script started automatically (via update-rc.d) on boot and 
the service starts without any problems
except that Mono does not create a log file and for the life of me I 
can't figure out why.

Anyone have any ideas why?
