Understandable, compared to other conferences we do seem thin on the
standard activities. However, the biggest benefit of attending the Mono
Summit is that you are going to have direct access to the Mono Team, a
portion of the Mono community and some vendors using Mono.

Our descriptions and backgrounds could certainly be more informative and
we've made the mistake of expecting people to know who we are.

What I can say is, that every presenter is highly qualified for their
presentation. With the exception of Wade's talk on the Build Service,
every presenter for every session is one of the core developers of the
technology they are presenting on. In Wade's case he uses the Build
Service on a daily basis.

Probably the best thing you can do to prepare for the Mono Summit is
brainstorm a list of questions about Mono that you would like answered
or stories about Mono that you would like to tell. If you are wondering
how you can add unit testing to your existing app, ask Charlie. If you
are interested in increasing community adoption of your application, you
could talk to Miguel or Joseph. If you are having an issue configuring
ASP.NET, Marek will be there and can probably help you out.

The people who will get the most out of this conference are the ones
that interact the most with the other attendees.

Look forward to seeing you there!
