Yes.  We have Mono apps/services that run 24/7.

Winforms can be problematic if you try to use third-party controls.  And
Gtk# has a much thinner toolset (there basically are no third-party
controls).  But if you don't need those types of things in your UI I
wouldn't hesitate to use Mono.
