[Mono-list] Error: sqlite_compile entry point

I'm recieving the following error when trying to use Sqlite..
>> Unable to find an entry point named 'sqlite_compile' in DLL 'sqlite'.

I'm using Sqlite version 3.3.9 and Mono 1.2.2.1 on Windows

The sqlite.dll is in the same folder as the application.  I'm using Visual
Studio, and I added the Mono.Data.Sqlite.dll as a reference to my project.

?) Since VS is using its imp. can I not link to the Mono.Data.Sqlite as I'm
doing?

Any thoughts on my error, or something to give me a better understanding is
appreciated.
