[Mono-list] problems with UTF-8 characters and mod_mono

hi,

i've created a simple web application for querying a postgre database,
(asp.net 1.1, using c#), and it works great with xsp, though it
produces some weird behaviour under apache (2.2), after pulling my
data out of postgre, i bind it to a datagrid but under apache all my
non-ascii characters turn into question marks (if i use some other
control, i still get this behaviour)

this is happening with mono 1.1.13.4, ubuntu hoary, psql 7.4.

does anyone have an idea?
