I will look into this when I get back from my vacation in a few weeks.

But really folks, it is a piece of cake, specially for anyone using
Solaris which has probably have had to build software on his own for
ages.

We are considering doing this to minimize questions on this matter.

We are using Solaris 8, and only recently got Solaris 10.  It works on
both.
