[Mono-list] How to install Mono on Solaris 10 x86

Hi,

I am trying to setup Mono on a newly installed Solaris 10 x86 and I am
new to Solaris.
Does anyone have an up-to-date guide for doing this?

I am not even getting to the compile-time errors mentioned in mailing
list posts or that one weblog entry.
* It started with gcc not being in the path by default. I found out it's
in /usr/sfw/bin. If I add that to the PATH ./configure finishes okay,
but there is no make command, only gmake and if I run gmake the makefile
tries to run 'make' which fails.
* If I add /usr/ccs/bin to the PATH then make fails with the following
error:

In file included from /usr/include/link.h:14,
                 from dyn_load.c:71:
/usr/include/libelf.h:28:2: #error "large files are not supported by libelf"

Any hints welcome.

Regards,

Andreas
