I don't know about OpenBSD, but mono is currently broken on FreeBSD.
I've talked to a couple of FreeBSD people and the problem seems to be in
boehm-gc. I suspect this bug is caused by some weirdo interaction
between boehm, mono and FreeBSD's KSE, and that would also explain why
monodevelop crashes on NetBSD. Since you're a NetBSD committer perhaps
you can help me fix it, I already have monodoc 0.15 running and almost
got monodevelop to work :)
