[Mono-list] Mono on win2k

Yes newbie here. I just d/l and installed Mono 0.31
for Windows that i got from go-mono.com. well i wanted
to test out a simple Hello World program that i got
from the Docs but i keep getting:

mcs hello.cs
error CS2001: Source file 'hello.cs' could not be
opened
Complications failed: 1 error(s), 0 warnings
------------------

I tried searching and i found a reference to CS2001
but it says something different:

// cs2001.cs: Source file 'notexisting.cs' could not
be found
// Line: 0
// Compiler options: notexisting.cs

Any word on what this could be? I was just wondering
if anyone could help. Im planning on moving to Linux
fulltime in the near future, i just want to start on
mono right now. After seeing Miguel's demo at
BrainShare.. all i can say is wow! good job mono team!!
