Don't do that unless you *really* know what you are doing. Since you are
asking, I take it you are not 100% sure.
If there is a dependency error, it probably means that there really is a
dependency that is not being met.
Can you find out what those dependencies are and install the necessary
packages?
Try URPMI. Isn't that supposed to fetch the dependencies from the web a
la apt-get ?
How about yum?
