[Mono-list] mcs execution under cygwin

I'm running cygwin 1.5.5-1 on Windows2000...

I downloaded the mono-0.29 windows installer and the MS .NET 1.1 Framework
last night; both installed without problems.

The issue I'm having is that mcs gives me a warning when I use the /debug
switch under cygwin... however, I think I have the path for mcs and the
debugger dll set correctly...

[mpenning@mpenning-w2k02 c#]$ mcs /debug hello_world.cs
Internal() warning CS8018: Could not find the symbol writer assembly
(Mono.CSharp.Debugger.dll). This is normally an installation problem. Please
make sure to compile and install the mcs/class/Mono.CSharp.Debugger
directory.
Compilation succeeded - 1 warning(s)
[mpenning@mpenning-w2k02 c#]$

My PATH is set with the correct location of Mono.CSharp.Debugger.dll....

PATH=$PATH:/cygdrive/c/Program\ Files/Mono-0.29/lib:/cygdrive/c/Program\
Files/Mono-0.29/bin:/cygdrive/c/Program\
Files/PuTTY:$HOME/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/scripts:/usr/local/scripts/system

[mpenning@mpenning-w2k02 c#]$ ls /cygdrive/c/Program\ Files/Mono-0.29/lib |
egrep Debugger
Mono.CSharp.Debugger.dll
[mpenning@mpenning-w2k02 c#]$

Everything works just fine if I compile from the windows command prompt...
any ideas what I can do to make cygwin happy?

Thanks,
\m
