[Mono-list] Mono: Bridge from Windows to Linux?

In truth, here in Brazil, lots of people are starting to use .NET to
develop the important applications, and really they are looking at Mono
with hope for a really cross-platform development platform, that will
allow them to develop once, in their choice of language, and with good
performance for desktop applications, not only server ones, that is why
they look beyond java. 

Curiously, I get most questions from INETA Sponsored .NET user groups'
members...
