Maybe it is because of the jet lag of the mail :)

It is a kind of easy hack, reuse of the existing code, and
regardless of lightweightness (it constructs an XmlTextReader object
for *each* call of InnerXml setter). Please beware of any
suspicious behaviors around it ;-)
