Many people consider 'sharp' offensive and would rather you call it 'pound'. Unless you are in the employ of or under the mental control of Bill Gates, you have the opportunity to choose what to call that symbol.
I'm glad you are doing what you are doing, it would be even better if the compile command was mclc or mcpc. Anything but mcsc.
