[Mono-list] C# program as a daemon

Hi all,

Congrats to all the developers for achieving so much already (and so much to do still....)!!

I am looking forward to have ASP.NET running on Apache, but will wait for stable releases. (anytime soon?? don't want to rush you though = ) )

I am also looking forward to have C# programs running as a daemon. But I don't know of such a thing is possible and if yes, is it possible already? I am a complete Linux-programming nitwit, so this would be my very first hack on a Linux-box. Tell me, where do I start to get a C# daemon running funny services in the background for me?

Thanks in advance and keep up the major stuff (can't wait to see it all be completed)
