Perhaps the best -- and likely most expensive -- way to do this is to run
the OS of your choice as the host OS for VMware, then install the other as a
guest. I have a box running SuSE 8.0 and a Windows 2000 Professional VM in a
window.
VMware 3.1 is very speedy in my experience. You'll want sufficient RAM (IMO,
at least 512MB, giving 256 of those to W2K).
