[Mono-list] can gtk# do modified compontents?

I've seen you want to do Windows.Forms through gtk+.
Surely normal things like windows and buttons,etc. can be done in this way.
With ms.net you can modify these things by creatingcomponents. For example I
have seen menu-bars witch have a symbol left of the text like in office 2000
or even a component which makes the menus look like the menus visual
studio.net with the shadow and the violett color on mouse over.

Can GTK+ do these things?
I'm a newbe to gnome/gtk+ so please tell me.
