Master hacker Dan Lewis contributed the Regex support to mono a few
months ago.

This is the whole point of the ECMA standard. Of course, there may be
bugs or unimplemented features in any of the runtimes...
Since it doesn't make sense to develop applications for mono or for
p.net or for the ms CLR, I suggest you try to compile/run your
application with all the runtimes and stick with the one that better
suits your needs (and report the bugs/omissions you encounter to the
respective projects).
