[Mono-list] IRC question

Does anyone know of an IRC server on the Gnome network that accepts
incoming connections on port 8080? This is the only outgoing port that I
can connect to from here at work, ..., and it's a futile battle trying
to get the net-admin (an MCSE, sigh) to open 6667. 

One could argue that I should be *doing work* at work, but.. Hey,
programmers are supposed to multitask, right?

(This is related to Mono because the only reason I want to connect to
irc.gnome.org is to join #mono. :grin: )
