Hi,

I am not a member of the list, but I do lurk the
archives, and am very excited by your project! (not
to mention Gnome, which is stellar)

I'm curious if you have any opinions on Microsoft's
recent prohibition of GPL or LGPL implementations
of CIFS (of which Samba is a prominent example)?

It seems to me that a similar prohibition on dot-net
patented technologies can't be far behind. I've
read Question 69 in the FAQ:
http://www.go-mono.com/faq.html#licensing , and it
seems like you may have to engage the provisions in
paragraph two in the forseeable future. How significantly
will this hinder interop with dot-net, or is interop
not a primary objective?
