Get into the habit of using "Reply to all" feature of the mailer.  That
way the reply goes to both the list and the sender.

I just experienced an 12 hour ordeal on a list with "Reply-To:" set to
the list.  Everyone received hundreds of messages of the type "I'm out
of the office till next Tuesday."
