Hi Andrew,

I've managed to install MonoDevelop once but can't seem to reproduce
the same result with a different box, what you can do to get started is
to install that dmg file that you have(note the dmg file from
mono-project.com only works with Panther).

then either you can go with darwinports
(http://darwinports.opendarwin.org) or
use fink (http://fink.sourceforge.net)

to help you install the dependencies of monodevelop, alot of readings
needs to be done and so far no one has really come up with a fool-proof
documentation on
how to install monodevelop on Mac OS X, i'm still trying to come up
with my own documentation as i struggle to install it myself.

regards,
j
