Hello,

My name is Vaishvik Nakhashi and I am a student pursuing Bachelor of
Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Nirma University, India.
Following is my LinkedIn profile link: in.linkedin.com/in/vaishviknakhashi/

Basically the purpose of my email is about GSOC applications for mono
projects. I saw the list of projects mono is offering and I am quite
interested in contributing in it. Among all the ideas already listed, I am
willing to work on mcs compiler and contribute in improving C# compiler. I
saw a project idea regarding improving switch statements and hashing
techniques for them and I am quite interested in the project.

After superficially going through the repository of mono and some articles,
I have moderate knowledge about Reflection.Emit and how switch statements
are hashed.

I am willing to work on this project but I can’t go through the flow of the
solution. To be precise, I can’t localize the concentration towards the
switch statements functioning only. Hence, I need your advice regarding
“What to look” so that I can confidently put my formal proposal for the
coming GSOC internship.

Besides, I am not only seeking this just to get internship through GSOC. I
am quite interested in the idea of mono and I want to contribute chronically
for future.

I hope you take my request into consideration.

Thank you.
Vaishvik.
