Yes, we're creating a parent non-profit organization around the annual 
Monospace conference to be a visible presence and point of contact for 
corporate sponsors interested in supporting Mono conferences and other 
Mono activities.

We are in contact with Xamarin as well in discussions on how this 
organization can help in the Mono community as well and where it can fit 
in.  A foundation around Mono itself is further down the road and this 
is the beginning.
