[Mono-dev] Building and/or debugging mono on Visual Studio

Usually, you should provide patches for trunk, then they might get back
ported to older branches if it's worth it.

Building Mono on Windows is still not easy, AFAIK (I'd love to be proven
wrong). I used to follow a tutorial to build it with cygwin, and it was a
pain. Since they moved from SVN to Git, I haven't tried to build it.
Basically, Miguel recognizes building Mono on Windows is painful, and wants
to fix that and make it easy, but hasn't gotten around to get it done. It's
on the TODO list, among many other things.
