[Mono-dev] Nullref when clearing TextBox that hasn't been shown yet

Thank you very much for the detailed response. It makes perfect sense!

Question about steps (4) thru (7): for installing JPEG, TIFF, and PNG libs,
I found  ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v2.6/dependencies/ this nice gnome FTP
link . And libgif is right on sourceforge.net, top of Google. But I am
hesitant, because I also found apparently pre-compiled libraries here on 
http://www.mono-project.com/Cross-compiling_Mono_for_Windows
mono-project.com's "Cross-compiling Mono for Windows" page . 

I am guessing I should compile from the sources I found on gnome and
sourceforge, since evidently, that is what your instructions are telling me
to do. Still, I just wanted to make sure, since mono-project.com's "Sources"
page doesn't link to those sources, and instead the only link on
mono-project.com that I could find to these libs would be the pre-compiled
libraries, which I'm not sure what to do with.
