The "tag" is a snapshot in time when 2.4 was relelased. You probably
want to track
_http://anonsvn.mono-project.com/source/branches/mono-2-4/mono
<http://anonsvn.mono-project.com/source/tags/mono-2-4/mono>_
and periodically pull the fixes that land there as pertinent to you.

A new tag will be created for every single release, which will be copied
from the corresponding revision on the branch.
