[Mono-dev] What is the state of mono interpreter ?

I agree that this is the direction where we would like to see Mono
evolve: move towards support for full AOT for the features that we still
do not have AOT.

But if someone wants to revive the interpreter engine, and upgrade the
interpreter to support generics, the patches will be welcomed.   Maybe
they will be useful for someone in some situations.
