We removed the gtk-sharp package from Debian over an year ago:
[2007-07-22] Removed 1:1.0.10-5 from unstable (Joerg Jaspert)

and we are not missing it for anything :)

PS: btw this topic would have fit on the new mono-packager-list very
nicely
