[Mono-dev] problem with cross-compiling Mono to PowerPC

I have a problem while cross-compiling Mono to PowerPC platform/

At the beginning, I compiled and installed Mono on host

Then I configured with cross-compiler and run make, but I got a linker
error: 

/opt/gnome/lib/libglib-2.0.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

How can I cross-compile Mono? I read only about compiling Mono on target
system
