Ugh, please dont send huge bold text in the future.

Its likely that you have fink or something else installed mucking with  
your path causing problem (this is already fixed in 1.9).

Please run the postflight script manually as root (its in /Volumes/ 
MonoFramework/Whatever.pkg/Contents/Resources iirc; its called  
"postflight" `find` should help)

Send me the output of that and we can figure out exactly why it failed  
for you.
