[Mono-dev] .NET 3.5 Named pipes support?

I lurk on some other projects including SharpOS.
  A member of that project created a tool that uses P/Invoke for named pipes becuase he was not sure if Mono support named pipes.
   
  Can I tell him yes, no, or maybe?
  I made a quick attempt to find it on the class status pages, but did not see it.

  "The client will run only on Windows, because of P/Invoke needed for NamedPipes (I don't use Framework 3.5 with integrated NamedPipes, because I don't know if Mono support it). I don't know Linux, so I cannot port it to this platform."
