[Mono-dev] questions about embedded devices with mono

Hello mono-list, mono developers.

I've read something about running Mono on ARM processors and got quite
interested in development of embedded devices.

What are the minimum requirements for running Mono? I mean, what would
be the minimum amount of RAM for booting into Linux and running Mono's
runtime.

basically i would like to have an embedded device capable of:

- read/write from Serial Port
- do general XML parsing
- running lightweight database (SQLite or DB4o for example)

Hope someone could comment on these issues. I've been doing Mono and
C# for some while, but i'm very new to embedded development.

Any doc's or pointers to tutorials would also be welcome.
