Sorry to be so unhelpful, but I have ~40 language implementations
installed for The Computer Language Shootout, and I'm vainly trying to
lessen my upgrade workload by using Gentoo's latest ebuild whenever
possible. I'd much rather wait for the Gentoo maintainer to catch-up.
