Thanks for your fast aswer. Of course, the original idea was to use the
same asemblies for all the platforms, but I do was able to recompile
manually the code for a simpler version of the application as a DF, and so
I could run it on MONO. I guess this is good enough for my purposes :-)

Now my next problems are related to the WindowsCE SQL nightmare server,
but that will be another history.
