[Mono-devel-list] Mono tested on CLI-Grande

CLI-Grande is a port of the well-known Java-Grande set of tests to the CLI.

I'm attaching some results for recent CVS (15 March 2005) Mono versus the
1.0.6 branch. It probably is not meaning simplify to average all of the
subtest together. However, it is instructive to look at each test across the
versions and to see how the optimization selection affects different tests.

I will recant some of what I have said recently about performance increases.
There are some improvements in Mono's execution speed since the 1.0.6
release.

I do not know whether binaries attachments to mailing list items work
correctly or the best format. Mono hacker types seem to read OO.org
spreadsheet, so I'll try that initially. If anyone cannot get it or wants
CSV, let me know.

I'm looking for an online copy, but the author of the program seems to have
let his domain name expire. Ouch!

Marcus
