Yes it is possible. Since mono 1.0.5 - see bugzilla: 
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=65672
I used it in an ASP.NET application and in the previous 
Version of Mono (1.0) it didn't work but now it is fixed thanks to Gonzalo.

I am trying to load resource file for the project using Recource =
Manager. I get the Value in Windows no tin Linux

Is using Resource Files (resx) possible ?? if not what is alternative??
