[Mono-devel-list] Cannot run Monodoc on Suse 9.1

I had the same exact problem just day before yesterday.
What I did was reinstalling the gtkhtml-3.0 using YaST2 in SuSE.
This fixed the monodoc problem - BUT caused Red Carpet not to start anymore!
 
There is some kind of a problem with gtk, Red Carpet reports this:
"'GtkTextSearchFlags' is not an enum type"
[...] "no codec search functions registered: can't find encoding"
 
 
I've forund posts in mono list's archive from 2 different people 
written i september 2004 about the same problem, but there's NO soultion :(
One of the guys told he still did not found any workaround.
 
Restarting and even reinstalling Red Carpet (incl. python-gtk, rcd and rug) does NOT help!
I have the latest python-gtk ver 2.2.0-3 and gtkhtml-3.0.

 
Anybody?? This is obviously quite a common problem so please!

Hi All,
i just install monodoc from the excellent red-carpet
by using the mono channel.

Everything looks fine, but when i try to launch monodoc
i get the following:

Unhandled Exception: System.DllNotFoundException: gtkhtml-3.0
in <0x00053> (wrapper managed-to-native) Gtk.HTML:gtk_html_new ()
in <0x0007d> Gtk.HTML:.ctor ()

I tried to add the following entry in my /etc/mono/config:
<dllmap dll="gtkhtml.dll" target="libgtkhtml-3.0.so>

but it doesn't works.

Off course i'have libgtkhtml-3.0 in /opt/gnome/lib.

Can anyone help me?
