[Mono-devel-list] Writing plugins for Firefox

Does anybody have any experience with writing plugins for Firefox using
mono, or C# in general?

I have created a Netscape plugin with Delphi, but the interpreted nature
of C# makes things more difficult.

It can be done with perl:

My brief research says that I need to create an XPCom object that is
accessible via XPConnect. Beyond that I am not really sure and would
appreciate any guidance.
