I also started up a little bit of hobby work afetr Miguel's mail, and I 
would be interested in participating in the development of a BT engine 
for Mono. It's not that much work, though.

A Mono implementation should include all aspects of BitTorrent, 
including the tracker/server, IMO. The tracker could be implemented in 
ASP.NET, too, or have it's own mini webserver, as classical BT does.
