Hello,

   Thanks to everyone that said `Will 1.0.1 fix bug XXXX?'.  The answer
is: if it makes the cut date, it will, if not, it wont.

   I know that this is not the answer you are expecting, but 1.0.1 fixes
several problems that people need, and that we need to get out.  The
fact that we did not fix your favorite bug does not mean it wont ever
get fixed, it just means that it wont delay the 1.0.1 release.
