Hello,
I recently looked into it too. I believe the namespace you are pointing out
is only a library for use with VB.NET, the actual VB.NET compiler is called
MBAS (http://www.go-mono.com/mbas.html ), and it needs a lot of work.
There isn't anybody working on it currently, I believe the creator wanted to
pick up the activity when Mono 1.0 is out.
I was thinking of contributing, because I recently had a compiler course and
found it very fun to program a compiler ( did the Tiger one ofcourse ;) ).
The only thing holding me back, apart from finishing my Master's thesis, is
that I'm very new to the entire open-source happening. Just following the
mailing lists for now.
If you want to pick up VB.NET, I might be interested to join you in the
effort...
