[Mono-devel-list] Mono Roadmap, Windows Forms and GTK#....

Hello, all,
  I am a little confused by the timeline of the Mono Roadmap, Windows
Forms and GTK#.  Windows Forms are slated to be rolled out as part of
Mono 1.2, target date Q4 '04.  However, if I wanted to develop WinForms
apps *TODAY* on Linux, would I be able to do it using GTK# and C#?
(There is a new book published by Apress on this very same approach and
I am wondering if I ought to go ahead and purchase the book.)  Apropos
of this, will the Mono 1.2 implementation of WinForms require
platform-specific add-ons?  Just curious....
